Last time they deactivated the uBlock Origin it was just a matter of activate it again, now they seem to disabled that function too, hmm.

A fork maybe of uBlock Origin might work, any tips.

@Impulse uses Unlock Origin Lite.

I don’t think it blocks YouTube, though. That’s probably still how this version is in the Chrome store.

Yeah, I am trying out that version, lacks a lot of advanced things in the Original version though.

AdGuard has been working well for me. It's definitely not as good, but it's good enough for my needs. It blocks YouTube ads, which is my main concern.

I switched to Brave entirely months ago due to this problem. Brave is working find for me, and no need to install any ad blocks extension.

I don't even use AdBlocker anymore because it was causing me far more headaches when trying to load some common sites than it helped

I just deactivated them like a month ago... maybe because I was using two different ones on at the same time but it worked fine for many months until recently, which could have been because of Chrome update as well

Seeing your post now, I start to think that could have been the main reason the setup was messed up 😄

Yeah, same here. uBlock Origin stopped working for me, too, after the update. I tried reinstalling, but it didn't work. If anyone finds a working fork or alternative, definitely drop it here.

Try the Lite version, it works good, not that advanced though, but does the job.
