I've had this happen to me before but not really like this.

I had a competitor email me and start saying some really crazy things.

He said what I sell isn't very good compared to his goods and that if I don't take my shop down he will find me and take down himself? Uhhh okay it's an online shop?

I'm not worried but I feel like there should be a place I can report these kinds of people to. Is there anything I can do because he's probably doing this to other people as we speak.

Well if he's in the same county you can probably report him to authority.

Honestly tho. If he's telling you he's going to to do something. He isn't.

You would have either had a legal letter or him turn up.

Just ignore them.

Take it as a complement. He's worried about you.

Say "come at me bro" then let it begin and prepare for good let's get ready to rumble.

Make a Christmas card out of it and send to his business during holidays in December

I don't know people online can be kind of crazy but like I said I'm not worried.

I'll try to see if he lives in the same country as me.

Yes some people get aggressive or almost like a demented person for me when it happens just stand up or prepare for business mini war which happens occassionally.

You get the usual oo you stole my idea or my niche but being in this area for 14 years here the prove them"that's fake" me"okay cool.

I would go with ignoring too, but don't delete the threats. They might come in handy later, if they ever go beyond that.

I've only had a competitor threaten me twice.

The first time was when I launched a keyword research service. A competitor ordered it, and upon receiving the report, he told me that "Your service is okay, but nothing great. There's already a lot of competition with this and you should leave this to the real keyword researchers or there will be trouble". I just ignored that threat and nothing came from it.

The second time was some wannabe mafia-style threat sent through an employee of the company. Again, I just ignored it and went on with my business.

The only people sending these lame threats are cowards who just want think they're intimidating.

People who are actually a threat take action and don't go announcing their intentions as an intimidation tactic like a cartoon villain.

Well competitor is a word of competition. Just like there are so many students in your class so you have to be compete with them just like in business. So many competitors are here, you just need to focus on yours's not what others says.

It's been weird for months now... just roll with it, fuck it.
