Not at all. I really saw someone begging for a backlink on Reddit. It was really something else.

I was reading the SEO Reddit the other day when I saw someone begging for a free backlink to their travel blog.
They apparently just wanted any old backlink. Any backlink would do. :cautious:
This got me thinking of course, has anyone here ever gotten a decent backlink from begging like this...

I don't know as much about Wikipedia backlinks but I have always wondered how well they communicate with each version of the site.
Sounds like a good case study someone could put together at some point really.

I also had a question. You mentioned when a link gets rejected that it can be harder to submit in the future. Is this just on the specific Wikipedia you submitted to like en.wikipedia or is it across all of the subdomain versions of Wiki?
