Someone I used to work with called me Opie, referring to the Andy Griffith character 😁

For a skinny young blond guy, it fit well, I guess lol.
 
Mine is "Abhi" as my name is Abhishek

Just so you know on the previous forum my username was "Abhi007" before I requested to get it changed to TheVigilante

Bruh I actually understood 1 word at least in a foreign language of the country I live in. The excitement is real. I wish I understood an actual sentence 😐

I went to Grammar school which I had to travel 20 miles a day to get to - on the train where a mixed bunch from all different schools along the route. Tradition was to give you a nickname of the school. I went to king Edwards so my nickname was eddy and I was know as that from 11 years old. Funny thing was all my friends started calling it me and so I use to get birthday cards and party invites of parents in the village and they all thought I was called Eddy. And when ever I go back to the Village for get togethers etc 50 years later everyone still calls me Eddy - lol

Yeah, we heard and use such nicknames..

Back in old college day friends we call sometimes as mental, loose, macha, mapilai 😎
