Since being on this new place, I was thinking...

How fast platforms come and go, and it hit me - some of the best vibes came from apps that don't even exist anymore. Vine? Pure chaotic genius. Yahoo! Messenger? Peak drama. Flappy Bird? Stress in a pixelated box. Skype? The OG of late night calls and awkward video chats.

Whether it was an underrated gem or a cultural moment we didn't appreciate enough at the time. What’s that one app you still think about randomly?

Ah, The Skype! I build a whole business around Skype. I miss that shit badly.

That bloop bloop Skype sound carried more emotion than half the conversations I have today.

Well, 30+ years on Internet it comes with some flex I guess, seen a shitload of stuff come and go during that time.
 
All of the messengers: Yahoo Messenger, AIM, MSN Messenger, ICQ of course, xFire, Skype

I also miss some games that I have played with my friends. But I think it is more about missing the time we've spent instead of the game. Or both.
 
MSN Messenger, ICQ, Odigo, the old Myspace with some music the I lost...
Can't tell if I miss the apps themselves or I just miss beeing a teenager in the early 00s

These days I mostly miss Skype :cry:
