I mean why not as long as it works for them and they can get the info they are looking for

Here is a list Super Stack Products that just crush speed reading / value extraction:
1. Margin Notes 4
Mass edit and highlight across a ton of books at once. Strip out all the fluff, keep the meat. Perfect for Harvard Business Review papers, business books you just want the tactics from, and any text where action beats theory.
They have a nice sidebar where you can just select each book go through 50 pages real quick, highlight what you need, and hit the next one. I'm talking you can pump through 10-14 books in probably an hour.
2. Liquid Text
Forget Apple Books—this is the real upgrade. You can export highlights, add precise notes, and even sketch diagrams right on the side. It’s built for deep dives and real comprehension. I’m genuinely impressed with how beautiful it is.
For some reason I stopped reading maybe for 2 years actively (Only audio books) cause I thought something was wrong with my brain / attention span cause of internet. In reality, Apple Books just sucks. Lol.
This one is it.
3. Natural Reader
AI voices at 2x speed minimum. I don’t waste time on full audiobooks anymore unless they’re worth it. The flow is: speed read first → if it’s gold, then I’ll run it back with a 2x audio session for reinforcement.
Perfect for books with no audio versions (dense academic texts) or if you have the PDF just throw it in there (stuff like Lucifer Effect which is super cool, Stanford Prison Experiment, Amazon Letters, Overcoming Gravity, etc.)
The Workflow
1. Margin Notes 4 → Blast through and decide if the book’s even worth attention.
2. Liquid Text → Deep dive the good ones, diagram, connect ideas.
3. Natural Reader / Audible → If I love it, lock it in with audio sessions for deeper thinking or while on the move.
