Aha but.... DID you change?Seeing that, it makes me very happy that very few photos of me are out there, and especially not in the possession of some relatives I disowned over a decade ago.
It’s only a matter of time until those types start using this technology to fabricate moments from stills that didn’t happen. It would be very much annoying for them to do that, get worked up over false “happy moments” created from stills, and then try reaching out again with “you changed” messages.
I know there are worse applications for this, but I’m just thinking of myself right now.![]()
Yeah, but it's more of an issue only if they manage to work out how to do that or if they even remember to do that. Many people struggle to work the technology right in front on them, so it's probably nothing to worry about... probably. Also mmm yeah I wouldn't want that to happen to any of my old photos!![]()
Sort of. Never in the way any of these people think, though.Aha but.... DID you change?![]()
I've had this happen to me too. It happened with old friends who didn't like that I started exercising as a hobby. They told me I changed and didn't want to talk to me because I didn't want to go out to the bar every weekend.Yeah, but it's more of an issue only if they manage to work out how to do that or if they even remember to do that. Many people struggle to work the technology right in front on them, so it's probably nothing to worry about... probably.

The first time I got bombarded with "you changed" messages was about 15 years ago when I was in and out of the hospital due to a mold illness. I got sick and started getting quieter with everyone, so I wasn't as fun to talk to. They took that out on me and told me I changed.
The second time, I disowned a bunch of "relatives". These people were abusive to me as a child, so when I found a way to cut them out of my life, I didn't hesitate to do so. They couldn't reach me, but they pestered my mother asking why I changed and how I'm an ingrate for not talking to them.
It happened again in 2024 and this year with a different group of people, but that's a long story (and a lot of screenshots of chatlogs) that I'm not ready to share.
If you told me 40 years ago this stuff would been around I would've thought you were a certified nut case.
