Digg is back?

New parasite opportunity?

https://digg.com/ DA 92

They are a bit overly cautions at the moment, so if you spam you could get blocked from the platform. But there is LOTS of unclaimed usernames, communities etc, you could create something like "blackjack hack" or something and grab and build a niche community ...

Time to pounce and dominant serps

If many people ignore this then it's a good thing for someone who never gave up on the site

It's been relaunched. So anything old on there has gone.

It's in beta currently.

It's open season on getting city / location names and community as well as more niche specific ones

I am surprised i've not heard of this, but the metrics and brand reputation seem good. And doing some reading, apparently it was bigger than reddit back about two decades ago?

It looks like it might actually be a good opportunity for both for link power and ranking but also coversions if they can follow through with their promise of making it a 'human' friendly sm alternative. Has anyone tried it yet and seen index rates? Early days still either way. Lets see how it plays out.

On a side note... been looking for a decent alternative for while as it is

I'm glad it is back but has anyone looked at the old design compared to the new one? The site "looks better" but is way less information dense than before. I am sure the net is less usable than it was 10 years ago.

I remember making a tool that would submit stuff to digg back in the day.

This is a blast from the past. What is next? Stumbleupon?
