Trump is looking for another regime change.
Shah(the king) is seeking asylum for a long time. He is more US leaning.
What Trump is looking to do is actually is this. Overthrow the current Iran government and install the king
With Greenland I think it's mostly got to do with trying to end the stale mate between Russia and NATO. Because another Treaty of Versailles like situation for Russia is what some EU countries want. Humiliate Russia and drain them.
Trump is trying to actually use Greenland as a leverage against those opposing(some EU countries) Trump's terms in the cease fire that will give russia a small win.
It looks very complex and it's a tangled cluster fk
Will sound crazy now. But am 90% sure that US will tie up with Russia against China and China with Europe together on the other side in the near future.
There is going to be some serious shifts happening with the globe orders.
There is always a calm before the storm.
It won't be like the usual WWI or WWII as countries now fight for their own interests first unlike the previous wars that had colonies fight along with Axis powers even though they didn't want to get dragged into it
Either which ways it's not going to be like countries bombing each other like in Russia or Ukraine. It would be more subtle, proxy wars, trade deals and defence deals.
It will be a p2p pact with countries. There will be many Switzerlands during this period and very few Belgiums if you see my analogy

Well no one knows for sure. However if you look at history us humans tend to repeated our self's not so much in terms of historical events as technology and advancements can and change our course.
However history does show that we follow similar patterns. Fear, greed, ambitions to name a few.
Because of that outcomes are often the same. So people smarter than myself or not can make guesses based on historical patterns of what outcomes can mean and be.
However unless we are behind the curtain no one knows for sure...
