Chances are, many of you have used different codes or plugins on your website to warn visitors when they're about to leave your site by clicking on an external link.

For example:
1000052895.webp

Code:
http://transition.fcc.gov/fcc-bin/bye?https://google.com

The URL structure of the website shown in the image above looks like this: website.com
/fcc-bin/bye?YOUR_WEBSITE_HERE

There are hundreds of similar scripts out there, and the interesting thing is that by simply swapping out the original link with your own, the page will still load - but now it includes your website as a do-follow backlink.

In fact, you’ll get two backlinks: one from the naked URL and another from the "Continue" button. It’s actually quite easy to discover sites like these using specific Google search footprints.

Cheers!

I respect you for posting this, but we should try to go for quality links whenever possible for our money sites. Trust me, it's not worth risking your money site.

These are .gov backlinks with low indexing rates. They are good for diversity or as tier 2.

Cheers.

What google search operators would one use to find such .gov sites?

I tried to find through inurl:/fcc-bin/bye?

got nothing.

Tried with : "I accept the risk, Continue to the site anyway."

Got nothing.

I Might be doing something wrong.
