I've used the standard Namecheap and other popular registrars that sell domains for about $10 to $15 each.

I've seen some domain registrars that were more expensive but what does that extra price even get you?

Nothing useful that I've seen. I've moved all my personal and client domains over to Cloudflare years ago now.. wholesale price + mandatory ICANN fee. Considering I use a lot of Cloudflare's features across different sites it's far more convenient having all the management for everything in one place. Also easily lets me keep client stuff under their own Cloudflare account that I can manage from my own 'master' account, lets them retain full ownership/control should anything happen to me.

A domain is a domain. I use namecheap because I trust them and feel comfortable around the interface. Beyond that it's pretty much the same, I think.

That's what I figured.

Thanks for sharing your experiences guys.

Nothing. Some domain providers claim they offer DMCA-ignored domains and justify their higher price that way, but I would be careful with such statements, it can also just be a way to attract customers.

secret benefits that no one will ever see.
it's a brand, if u trust it, you trust it
else you just don't, regardless what anyone else says.
Most of mine are either on cloudflare or namecheap
altho i do have a few still scattered around elsewhere

Nothing lol.

But when it comes to more obscure cheap domain registrars avoid those like the plague. I've heard about some that reclaim domains once they get traffic.
