The Trading Post Is Now Open!

Can I make payment via crypto please , that will be great for me .
If your service gets approved, we can send you a wallet address. Which crypto did you have in mind?

USDT Trc20 , I am preparing the details and will be submitting the thread soon.
Yeah, we can do that. This can be handled in your submission if it's approved.

I have submitted my thread for your review. Waiting for result whether I am passed / failed :D :'(

I've made an adjustment to the Trading Post and the way thread bumping works. It means traders won't have to remember anything about the thread bumping rules, so they can post in their listings as much as they need to.

Yeah, it was another one of those days! I made some changes to the way the auto merge feature works that I'm sure all of you will like!

So, remember how the merge time is 10 minutes since your last post? This is still the case in all of the public discussion sections. However, I've set it so that all subforums in the Sapphire section have a 5 minute timer and the Platinum subforums have a 1 minute timer.

I also made some changes to the Trading Post in regards to this timer. Nobody wants to have to remember yet another rule, so I used this auto merge feature in the service listings section to re-work the thread bumping rules.

The merge time for posts in the Service Listings section is set to 240 minutes (4 hours). In other words, any posts created within 4 hours of your last post will be merged together. This means each thread will only be bumped to the homepage every 4 hours at the most. At some point, I may increase this timer or change the way it works, but this should suffice for now.

I just launched a full-service MVP building service on the other forum. And I'd like to get a thread here.

However, most of my work is under NDA. How shall I proceed @Zwielicht

That's a tough one!

I took a look at the FRC thread you submitted over there to get a better idea.

Do you have examples of coding projects that you can share? Maybe coding projects you've done for yourself?

One more thing I want to add:

When a trading post gets approved, it should appear at the top of the forum like a fresh post just created.

When my post got the green light and I paid the fee, it almost didn't even appear in the front page because I posted it yesterday so it was treated like an old thread that was about to roll off since new posts were taking over.

I noticed that happened as well.

I’m looking into a posters bump feature that staff can use after approval. We’re considering enabling it for traders as well.

Okay, there's now a thread bumping feature available only to administrators for the moment. You can read more about it here: https://officeoutlaw.com/threads/the-official-changelog.7/post-40431

Of course there are new updates today!
  • Based on a suggestion by @INCC, After a service has been approved and moved to the Service Listing section, an administrator will apply a thread bump to your listing so that it appears on the homepage. We're doing it this way because listings are moved from the pre-approvals section with the original submission date, which means it doesn't show up as a "new thread" once approved.
  • The portfolio question that appears in the Pre-Approvals section has been changed to just ask for proof of work. You know, since there are cases where a trader wouldn't have a portfolio.
  • Up next, we've got a small quality-of-life update: the default prefix for the Pre-Approvals section is now set to "In-Review". This way, nobody needs to remember to select the prefix when they create a listing.
  • Patron now has a new colour! It's #f542f5 and you can see it on any of our Patron members.
We're also currently looking into providing traders and those who submit Wanted threads the ability to bump their own thread. If we can't make it node-specific though, what we may do instead is give everyone with Sapphire Status the ability to bump any one of their own threads every 24 hours. This way, if they want to apply it to their sales listing or just one of their discussion threads, they can do so.

That's really great and simple to make payment!

A quick question!

Can you sell reviews here?
Unfortunately we can’t permit those services due to the 2024 FTC ruling.

It’s in the prohibited products and services table here:
