Could be other factors. Depending on what you sell.

- Competition
- AI
- Time of year
- Target customer and whats going on in that country, i.e cost of living etc

Do you just sell on there? or do you have an email list or any other market you can tap into?

They dont care a % of sales? So doubtful, it depends when the biggest point of renewals are going on.

To clarify, I sell in multiple places, but I've been tracking everything very carefully
Specifically, clients coming from BHW have been extremely low in both numbers and quality, like never before

For example:
I recently spent 3-4 hours talking to one guy. I showed him past references and completed projects, clarified all the details for the project and even made a trip to my office on my day off to record some videos as he requested.
He asked for my payment details but ultimately never paid.
I followed up a day later, but he left me on seen.

This is the kind of people BHW brings nowadays only scammers and time-wasters

Although I have other sources of income, I feel like it’s no longer worth being part of the community.

From a business perspective, I’ve paid for some privileges like BST, VIP, etc., but I’m getting nothing in return.

I will probably stick around as a regular member just to see how things develop.

Anyways, what I was trying to find out is why on earth they took those decisions, as they are definitely going in the wrong direction.

If I may give my two cents: it does seem to have represented a 'great blackhat hope' in the past from what I can see. But that era is over.

Today, everyone is vibecoding and using AI for content curation. Everyone is on big SM and job listing sites for freelancers and outsourcing - sites with better quality control, everyone can see through the bots continously spinning and making posts one the same topics and one line comment spam to make the site look active, the mods are way too quick to ban people to point it feels negligent, and there are more blackhat forums actually out their for more 'proper' blackhat stuff. So what what incentives are they giving anyone to stay?

In a nutshell, I don't think there are any. They are clinging in this image the site has cultivated over success of legacy strategies and methods that might have worked during some legacy era, but don't really hold as much weight anymore. Watch out for 'lifetime' memberships. That would probably be a sign it's done for good before they pull the plug or sell up!

True, the only thing this platform has right now is its brand name and the reputation it once held.

But at the same time, it was a sweet spot for those operating in a gray area because if you’re selling something like PBN packages, FB accounts or whatever gray service, you probably wouldn’t want to do that on mainstream sites.

This was the appeal of it to me.
Anyway, things change, and maybe for the better😁

Had same problem... People disappearing when payment was supposed to happen 😂. Some dude even told me he waits for his salary 😂 and then disappeared 😂. I'm open to the suggestion that *I* just suck, but other places don't have leads that crappy 😂. Eventually stopped trying to sell anything there before my jr vip expired. Interesting that you had the same problem, I thought I was insane.

Crazy that some just see the decline in the market place traffic now, that shit was going down hill long before I even told DD to stick my account up his ass.. actually a good part of why I didn’t give a fuck and told him to stick it up his ass was that, plus the overall forum was in my opinion fucked by then too.

It’s insane looking on there now and seeing how much worse it’s got and even though I knew it was coming and how much I ended up hating DD it’s still sad for me to see as it was my home for over a decade and where I first learned and met good contacts (when it had people like that). I didn’t think it was possible that they could fuck it up even more but boy oh boy have they proved me wrong.

The staff on there now are (I hate this word but it’s bang on) retards, especially the newer ones.. and some older ones like btb I wouldn’t trust to walk my dog for fuck sake - if I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times and a million times even on bhw to DD back when I was a mod to try to warn him “BTB is a snake”

BTB is fake as fuck it’s surreal more don’t see it until it’s too late, everyone smart on there knew it from I first joined and used to mock him as they seen through his bullshit, the old staff like bz, Zen19, MAD etc.. he used to come into irc wayyyy back in the day and get trolled to death trying to fit in too much, legit intelligent people seen through him easily which always shocked me that DD didn’t and still doesn’t.

The dude literally wrote fake rip off reports about my company years back and I found out so he apologised as I was going to make it all public, when they made him a mod I protested a lot beforehand based on that and other factors, but DD likes yes men that suck the farts from his arse.. which is why myself and him clashed a lot, he hated that I would even call him out in the staff section without a fuck given.

Most people here sell on bhw only? I remember @roydan doesn't sell on bhw at all and has his own traffic, no? @Aidan same. @t2van as much as he pisses me off, he does his own SEO, right? And now he tries to get social media traffic, I remember he looked for social media manager. One seller from bhw I regularly use to resell to my clients has seo, google ads remarketing and bhw thread. Nr 1 thing I like here on oo is that we're allowed to discuss other places so that at least gives some chance of building a lasting business that *includes* OO as a traffic source rather than being closed in some cult.

Yep. I wouldn't say that I have my own traffic but my business has nothing to do with BHW (or OO for that matter).

When I get 2-3 such people from BHW sliding into my DMs in a day, it really drains the life out of me.
What I usually do is shut everything down and watch a movie; that's a better use of my time.

But I will say this: there are a couple of individuals over there who love to kiss the current administration's ass and praise every bad decision they make. Just because things work for you doesn't mean they work for everybody (not implying or referring to anyone in particular).

And the funny thing is, some of them are neither buyers nor sellers, but they love to give opinions about how the marketplace should look and what rules should or shouldn't be enforced.

What can I say? People who have nothing better to do...

Sadly BHW prohibits talk about OO, so it'd be very slow process, maybe OO will never grow and be niche 4eva... although users join daily.
