Black Hat SEO Any proof that CTR manipulation works?

I haven't seen much of this kinda thing in years but I remember some years back CTR manipulation was getting talked about like it was the next big thing.

I tried one service back then and didn't notice any movement. Like it didn't help but it didn't hurt lmao.

Just chalked it up to that one service probably sucking cause IMO CTR makes sense as a metric in Google you know it seems obvious that it would be.

Don't know why it fizzled out but does anyone know if CTR manipulation even works in the first place? Anyone notice any results from doing CTR manipulation?

I have never seen one of those services work. I think this is why you really don't see them in online marketplaces much these days.Otherwise they would be alot more popular I think.

It worked on a large scale before, and the result was not a big deal to reckon with.
Google is more advanced now, don't think that works, hence it's not offered as a service.

The only case studies I've ever seen are by CTR services providers, so I really doubt they work.

I'm not an SEO guy though.
