Just been using my banned and illegal weed sprayer that kills everything it touches. GREAT stuff. Getting some old unused tunnels ready for production.

Quiet weekend, getting everything ready for the holiday next weekend. Been a bit of a crazy week but there we go, it's that time of year 2 more months to go!

Spain only for a week. Nothing fancy well. Guess it is but isn't. Cheap vs what we normally pay so couldn't say no.

See if that's a bad thing. Will see. I'm not exactly looking forward to it but need a break. So does the wife more than me really.

Way world is going can't see having another holiday away in the sun this year (more to do with fuel availability than cost our normal summer holidays are eye watering for what they are due to time of year 5 figures... )
 
Forgot ordered a ton of cat food and arrived during drinking session kind of interfering with my evening
 
Just burnt a shittons of trash, happily adding up to global warming eh. At least Sri Lanka has functional toilets, unlike Dubai.

Just removed all bloated default apps like youtube, gmail, google docs, diagrams. I'll replace them with obsidian and custom solutions. Sayonara google ecosystem and other stuff for people who want to look busy...

Yesterday all day relax and finally reached the peak intensity of relax after 2 weeks. Now I feel fulfilled.
 
I was exercising yesterday and managed to make quite a lot of progress with something I’ve been working on in regards to that.

I’ve also been working on deleting all my social media and limiting my online presence this weekend. I’m actually in the process of changing a lot of my details as I do this every 5 years or so, so that’s been taking up more of my time, but I should be all done with this next month. It’s sort of an ORM thing, you could say.

Other than that, I’ll be gardening for a bit today.

No, I just close the accounts I have and let them get deindexed over time. If there’s specific data on sites I want gone, I always submit requests to have the data removed to the sites directly as that’s worked for me over the years.

I don’t mind some stuff being up online like old press release articles, though.

Nice. I have never done this. Do you have any way to verify yourself if they have deleted it all? Or is it just a confirmation ?

I just verify it myself, sometimes just by going through search engines and other times by looking through known database sites.

One thing I do is I make sure there’s not a lot out there under specific names or usernames in the first place. For instance, I ensure I only ever upload a few pictures of myself, and they’re always older pictures that I alter.

I’ve been using aliases since I was a kid, so this is all just routine at this point.

If you’re ever interested in doing this yourself, look into how you can use multiple aliases at once in your locality. It’s a tactic I’ve seen some dual citizens use, but even if you haven’t changed countries before, there often other ways to accomplish this. There are a lot of benefits to doing this and I may even write up a thread about how and why I do this one of these days.

I also organized my AI...
I found open-source desktop app called Jan.ai, better than fully commercial Poe.ai from Quora.

In Jan.ai you can create assistants without any problem and teach them a lesson before they send you 1000 useless sentences.
I think I read 2 books talking to AI last week.
So much clutter, useless content and output tokens. Truly disgusting.
Now within 5 minutes I get as much info as in an hour.

Trick? Setup assistant with this type of instructions:
"Give text answers which aren't longer than 3 - 5 sentences depending on need. Sentences should be as short as possible, but not skip any unique information."

Also, Jan.ai supports major aggregators like OpenRouter giving access to cloud models via API keys at bargain prices. The only limit is your credit card and ability to setup assistants with correct instructions, not some subscription where the ceiling is like 50 answers a day.

Next thing is language organization to learn English and Russian.
Then barbells at home and finishing my custom ultra-comfortable desk.
I just can't imagine what feeling it will be to be able to pick up 100 kg while having a computer session.
