Hi guys

Did you guys also hear the same that Meta is removing the privacy from DMs.

No end-to-end encrypted anymore on insta?

if they are going to do this with instagram then who knows when they can announce that it is happening with Facebook's messenger, Whatsapp !

What do you guys think about it?
 
I don't even use ig 😂. Wanted to get some clients from there but polish ones are more active on fb so yeah. Not sure how to get the other ones without appearing spammy.

The other clients on fb? I'm not going with fb marketing so I can't help you there lol.

No I mean I saw agencies get foreign clients there, mostly ecom clients. Not sure how to go about this in practice withou being spammy af 😂.
 
Nobody has ever used that function anyway, as people didn't even know it's there.

And being afraid about what Meta might be doing with your data in 2026 is like buying condoms after you’ve been paying child support for 12 years.

I think people are more concerned about what Meta can be subpoenaed to share rather than use internally.

I had no idea they had this option either, by the way.

I heard that too.

Most people didn't even know about this feature. No reason to get worked up about it.

I think that’s fair. @29dogs was actually the one who made the first thread, but since she requested a ban, I didn’t think it would be a good idea to have a banned member as the thread starter of a megathread.

In this case, the thread starter should be the next member who isn’t banned, which is you.

I’ll add something to the new rules later.
