I haven't seen this kind of thread here so I thought I'd start it myself.

Have you managed to succeed or make progress with your New Year's goals? Why or why not?

Haven't had goals this year, but I usually meet them.

If you don’t have any goals, then you also don’t need to worry about achieving them. I don’t really set any goals for the new year either. Either I do it right now, or not do them at all.

It's more of a long term thing though, like being able to run a marathon under 4 hours by next year.
Not that I encourage or support sport or any form of physical exercise, it was just an example.

So many good things came unexpectedly, I forgot about everything.

This year is like some river flowing and taking me to places I feared to visit before.

Why? I abandoned everything I knew and started building my life from scratch.

Really adventurous.

The goal was "Make Money and save it" and I am on it

I don't do goals. I set new things to learn and then a particle skill on top I'm still on my learning skill to make different curry's (normally learn a new cooking thing yearly)

and this year for a particle skill I'm improving my long bow skills can't hunt in the UK or Europe but plan is to become better with a bow and arrow.

Last year was learning to weld so I like to mix it up between a practical skill and a fun one... Plus I got the family involved so extra win

I set simple goals to better myself. But because they're not really goals you can finish (you cant really be done bettering yourself lol) I'd say I'm just still working on them.
