What do you guys prefer using in your daily routine?

Earpods, Wired Earphones, or a headset? and Why?

I prefer using Earpods because they are wireless and tiny so they can be carried easily and you can wear them for hours

I won't tell. :)
It's really cheap and does the same thing as more expensive headphones or earphones.
I got these little buds almost for free. I have 5 pairs, 2 pairs bluetooth, 3 pairs wired. :sneaky: User experience is better and more customized than expensive audio-technica.

Unfortunately buying things by "random recommendation" from the internet was my problem.
Fixed it in many, many, many areas of my life. Now I'm intuitive engineer who engineers all parts of their life.
It feels so good. Even my face is engineered by myself. 🆒🤗
Even my posts are uncommon! Just like Dopious, but he is this strong ultra giga-chad smoking ciggar.I'm just a girl in man's body.

earpod when im out and about or phone calls
wired earphones when im at the pc typically
headset when im on calls/meeting

I don't use them all , they give me severe migraine pain . In start I was not able to understand why I am getting that much pain so regularly after meeting ENT Dr he explained not to use earpods or headsets anymore.

I used to prefer over-the-ear headphones, although ever since I got my Sennheiser MTW4 earbuds, I use those for everything now and I bring them with me whenever I go out now.

I ran into a similar issue. After many years of using headphones, I got a nasty reoccurring ear infection which ended up triggering psoriasis in one particular ear. The inflammation was causing partial facial numbness from pressure on the trigeminal nerve. Had all sorts of workups for heart attack, stroke, etc.. It ended up being because of headphones. Unfortunately, it is now a reoccurring issue even without using them but much less frequent.

I have always preferred wired earphones, but I do have wireless ones as well. However, wireless earphones sometimes fall out of the ear, and they are quite fragile. If you’re unlucky, they might break the first time they fall. That’s why I prefer wired ones, as they tend to be more durable.

Whatever, I found wearing earphones or headphones for days lowkey disconnects me from my surroundings and it feels bad.

I had a problem because of schizo mental illness and I wore them as earplugs. Sounds were irritating to me. I was one big walking irritation mixed with depression

The drawback of wearing it for so long is me feeling disconnected from my surroundings after too many hours. I can track it, and I will.

earpods are going to destroy your hearing in the long run because of the electromanetic field and heat they are creating
never use wireless because you will do it on the cost of your health
That's also the reason i would never use Wifi but only cable

Headphones. Can't love my WH-1000XM4 enough. One of the best investments I've ever made.

Depends.

Working day speakers. As I move around I like to hear the music wherever I am and I can still hear the phone ring without it being an issue.

Zoom etc headset just because I think that's easier.

Earpods/buds for swimming, running and just general gym stuff. I don't tend to wear them if I'm on the road though to be perfectly honest.

Music at home wired just because I think the sound is better HOWEVER there are some great wireless sets on the market now I wear wireless when gaming. I think I prefer the wired for music and chilling because it forces me to sit or lie-down there without getting up the sole focus is the music and chill.

I have the same pair, they're fantastic. I only use them nowadays for plane rides though, due to issues I mentioned in my previous comment.

You can easily create something with better airflow if you're inventive.

I mean something like Nank Runner Diver is already out there.

Sony is more normie-friendly than audio-technica. Maybe I'll try it. I'm not too much of a geek when it comes to headphones.

I use equalizers and such but no interfaces or some stuff like that.

Many Options, but what do you use mainly? wired or wireless?

oh so you like just using the phone's speakers? in public also?

just checked these, looks too cool man

I have been using earpods and headsets for a long time and recently i have been listening to music all day but after hearing this. I am considering avoiding that much use

Not even Wifi? How do you use the internet on your phone? and what about SIM signals?

Just checked these, they are very minimalistic man, nice taste

Wireless because once I use wired for a while, I get tired with the wires. When I get tired with wireless and charging, I use wired. Wireless 80% of the time.

Specs? I'm not engineering or building earphones, so I don't know.

They're medium or low bass all. Quite balanced. No heavy bass rn. That's the only parameter I can tell as non-geek.

phone is the only tool i have which creates am electromagnetic field however i avoid 5g and try to limit it using special covers when sleeping or keep it a few meters away from me.
However i can also see a clear correlation between usage of cellphone and earsounds and headaches when i used the cellphone for a whole day thats also why i limited it so heavily.
Be aware when being younger the symptoms may be way weaker than when you get older.

The reason I have schizophrenia. But my schizophrenia makes me sceptical here.

I also hate wires. I have earpods and one of them i not getting charged so i am using only one piece for now..xd

I asked about the face, nevermind

I avoid headsets since all of them broke and none of them really delivered better experience than cheap bluetooths.

I think for real headphones, you need to go to Nargil. Maybe he'll tell you.

What would I buy next? I think I would mute my room and build custom speakers after checking 10 settings. This would give me musician experience. Good way to start is to do experiments. I love experiments.

I'm 27 years old. It means I'm too old to outsource my hobbies to 3rd parties. I want to have control, not ready-made products that break.
