After seeing @INCC basically violated and abused his SSD to 1% before tossing it
I am curious about his phone battery health as well

How to check Android https://www.tomsguide.com/how-to/how-to-check-android-battery-health
How to check IOS https://support.apple.com/en-au/guide/iphone/iphd453d043a/ios

What's yours
here is mine

Yes I typically use mine for 3-4 years before changing.

if my timing is right.. next phone
IPHONE FOLDDDDDDDDDDD

I am using Android and the Battery health page sucks or lacks of specific info.
yup
tried the *# method on my motrola and cant check either
lol

Can't do it on Samung all the diagnostic tools come out as error ( connection lost or wrong MMI)

mine is currently 3900mAh ( typical)
the rated capacity is 3785 mAh
Yeah, this is my tablet
trash product is already at 90% while my iphone is 96

Can't see any battery capacity or info on Google pixel 9.

I have this setting option where i can keep it at 80% and it automatically shuts off that's from my understanding and I am sure most of the phones out there have this option

I have the same setting enabled. My battery health on my phone is at 100%.

that setting alone doesn't give you 100% battery health lol
that just stops you from overcharging
which at the end doesn't really matter since battery health also has different criteria's for deterioration.
You guys are just literally self-griefing and losing 20% of your battery
i never have that option on (iphone have it too), and yet i stil have 95% after 2 years of use.

It definitely helps when it comes to wear and tear which in turn helps in battery longetivity

not really
because that means u are effectively charging more often because u wiped out 20% of ur top battery health
which increases over time because its 20% of MAXIMUM not 20% of 100%
so as ur battery health goes down, u are losing more and more maximum battery as its scaling off max not total.
and charging regularly is one of the ways for faster deterioration due to the ions inside getting super hot and constantly moving.
u guys are just being brainwashed by the phone industry.
Its another tactic for them to keep u buying new phones every few years since they are struggling to come up with new phone feats

Well if that's the case then imma get it at 100% but is this what someone told you who's into this industry or what?

It's purely just understanding how lithium-ion batteries work.
Without all the fancy talk
not over charging is a correct statement. putting a stop at 80% to protect u from over charging is just excessive.
It would of been generally more well received if it was at 95% or something
20% is just wiping way too much of the battery overall.

Also, I feel it's that urge of getting it at 80% without reaping the benefits.. what say?
