Don't make it sound like .com is $2 when it clearly isn't.

Because they sell domains starting from $1.98, and the option of domains includes .ai and .com.
They don't say that a .com is for $1.98, but they make you think like it is.
 
Urgh name cheap I somehow ended up loosing a domain I thought I re-registed via those guys wasn't the case... a nice little domain which some little bugger has grabbed and has put a premium on it now valued over £2500
