What robots you have at home?

I bought remote control toy, a vacuum cleaner for $30 to clean as I struggle to use typical vacuum cleaner. This is my first robot ever and it feels good. I like its voice. It feels so warm compared to typical cold, noisy vacuum cleaner.

I also have slow cooker and rice cooker which I consider semi-automated cooking.

I thought of building a custom robot that imitates human of small size, maybe 1:8 human scale... I won't tell use case because I don't want to be judged. I can tell it would be like a toy to cuddle... or something related to that...

A robotic vacuum cleaner ( ecovacs deebot x2 omni robot vacuum & mop ) for a couple of years now, vacuum is boring so it takes care of it.

Nothing I hate robots

Only good to see them in Cartoon

I used to watch Ninja Robots a LOT

Who wouldn't want robot boy?! Or robot girl?! One of my favorite cartoons.

I have an older model Roborock (non-lidar) for the master bedroom. We have our birds in there and even let them out in the whole room for the day, so the Roborock is just something to run in the evening so I don’t have to sweep in there every day.

We got a newer LiDAR model last year with all the bells and whistles, but guess what? It broke after a few months. Apparently, it was an error due to a temperature sensor in the battery failing and thinking it’s “too hot to run”, so it charges fully but doesn’t move out of the dock.

Yeah, I have this cheapish robotic vacuum off Daraz, I think I paid like 30 or 50 pln? And quality is proportional to the price 😆. So actual human comes over and does the cleaning. I still would like a better model in the future, I see there are pretty cool ones available but let's get real, it'll only do floors not other things and I have to manually grab it and walk up/down to another floor, etc. Yeah, if you count that, I do have a rice cooker and 11kg capacity LG washing machine, I see it has some smartphone app but never tried that 😂.

I have a robotic vacuum cleaner. Honestly, I don’t use it that often, but since I have one, I should be using it much more often, given how much it cost.

Yeahhh, some cost more than my pc, depends on the model 😆

It’s a crazy market, but some products are really good and have extra features that make them worth the price.

We've got a 3D printer that can nearly do its own work

Those Eufy floor cleaners... A hinderance with older pets

We've got the house hooked up to Gemini through Google Home

Nothing else really

No robots for me right now. They’re pretty pricey and I’m not sure if they’re worth it for me.

So where is all this internet of things, ai, robotics, *** dolls, fully autonomous stuff??!

It's all hype. It doesn't exist.

It's so expensive and dumb only WhistlinDiesel can afford it.

If you're already saying that, then it’s probably not worth it for you.

Yeah man it’s more of a luxury thing and I’m scared of making a bad investment. I can just clean the old way for now lol
