📰AI News Lawsuit claims a hidden AI called Eightfold AI is why you can’t get a job

Pretty crazy read.

There’s an ongoing lawsuit right now claiming that this hidden AI used by companies has been acting like a hidden social credits system. Basically it gathers up all your info and assigns you a “score” which employers have been using to find fits for jobs.

So it's fine if the recruiter sees all the shit a candidate posts online and rejects them but it's not ok to save some time and let AI do that?

This is nothing new.

I am not scared of all the AI rumours like I have been saying plenty of opportunities for everyone

Just upskill yourself

This is pretty concerning if the allegations turn out to be true. I always assumed AI hiring tools were just scanning resumes for keywords, not building hidden profiles and assigning scores that applicants can't even see or challenge. If an algorithm is effectively making hiring decisions, there should be some level of transparency and a way to correct inaccurate data.

They’ve always had stuff like this so it’s hardly a surprise.

I never took the job market seriously.

It's just a bunch of pseudo-opportunities disguised as ultimate opportunities.

There's no real opportunity in the job market unless you work 3 hours a day and get paid $200 for some simple tasks

But the whole thing with jobs is that it's extremely hard to find something easy and good paying.

Also jobs want team players. I played many games multiplayer and I never cooperate. Literally never. At jobs the same, I just can't.

I can't even open my mouth to someone at jobs because I see all this dirty shit they're doing - I'm really sensitive in social context.

I prefer my small world with limited opportunities on the internet.

Try to find someone who offers beautiful job where you can make decisions. Good luck with that.
