I think it's like consulting for large group of people. Normal consulting doesn't scale as hard as YouTube or SEO. I don't depend on clients, so potential is infinite. Clients limited me as hell. Ditched them and now I have it all for my company. Next limiting thing are affiliate networks. Their offers are hard to convert using ethical ways. I'll have to change affiliate mindset as well.
