so.. been awhile since we got some AI browsers.
They promising things like to “redefine how we surf the web.” but does anyone else feel like we’re just training our new digital overlords every time we hit “accept cookies” or googles experimental privacy sandbox APIs?

ANYWAYS
Whats your take on AI Browsers
Do you use? Which one?
Did it replace your previous browser completely? Which browser did you use previously
If you don't Why not?

For me.. No, never tried it yet.

I don't trust these browsers. So, I don't use them at all.

I don't have a problem with AI, what I do have a problem with is a lack of control over it on my systems which is why i'm trying to transition from apple entirely to a Graphene OS and Debian based system.

Firefox is also said to be moving in that direction: https://blog.mozilla.org/en/firefox/ai-window/

I am currently using Zen Browser which is based on Firefox but promises to completely strip out Mozilla's future AI implementations.

I've heard good things about Helium Browser if someone is looking for a Chromium based 'anti-AI' browser but haven't tried it yet.

As for AI browsers specifically, i've tried Dia browser on my mac that i've been trying to set up with remotely as an RBI instance. No luck with that so far. So might just stick with Firefox down the line instead.
