I’ve been a fan for roughly 15 years.

I’ve been waiting for Tom Aspinall to fight for like 14 months and it all ends in 30 seconds via eye poke?

Disappointing to say the least.

What disappointed me in Jones now trolling him for what happened. And after bailing completely. Like get in there and fight him then

I used to watch it a lot back in the day, but the more time goes by I happen to watch less and less.

I saw somewhere that UFC had declining viewership over the past couple of years... I think it is due to boring talent; most stars are gone.

He also started trolling like 2 hours after the fight. That's how you know how bothered he was.

Fair point, to be honest. Over the last 2 years, a lot of talent that people watch for are on their own card for the main event or co-main. When it used to be that cards were STACKED.

Guys like Gaethje, Max Holloway, Derrick Lewis, Tony Ferguson and similar stars are all in their last 1-2 fights.

With rising PPV & event prices, it was bound to happen. I still watch most numbered events. Fight nights I skip usually.

Totally agree. If I know it's going to be a grappler, I usually just fast forward the match or catch the highlights. I don't think anyone except a grappler enjoys two watching two guys hugging and squeezing each other around a cage for 15 minutes.

All these grapplers with their taliban beards coming in from the middle east is ruining it for me. I hate to be that guy but I do sometimes feel there is lots of propaganda involved. A lot of these big money gulf organisations are pouring big money in to MMA and some of the biggest camps you see their are made up essentially entirely of muslim fighter. Even if some of them suck, it's a common denominator that they're all muslim from four corners in the world for some reason.

That's what I loved about the pereira match. It was possibly the biggest upset in recent history. It was as if he was ringing his earlier matches just for this which would be hilarious if true.

Yeah, and coming form a guy that has probably failed doping more times than anyone else combined meanwhile Nick Diaz got a five year ban for smoking weed lol it's a great sport to for fun or exercise but the above just shows you how much politics and favouritsm and such things plague the big leaagues.

Agreed. The Dagestani MMA culture is the most boring stuff to hit the sport. Everyone is trying to be Khabib and it just ruins the fight game. Colby Covington vs Robbie Lawler is how I like to see grapplers/wrestlers in fights. Chain wrestling between high level striking encounters.

That's MMA. When a fighter just holds a guy on the floor with no submission attempts or anything is just like watching an amateur wrestling tournament.

I knew Alex would most likely destroy Analklaev. I believe I saw someone from his team state that he "gave up" social media while in camp for this fight and solely focused on training.

That's why Khamzat wants to fight Alex Periera so bad. He's gonna wrestlefuck him and that makes for a boring fight, in my opinion.

I've always disliked Jon Jones. I was an avid fan of the sport during his feud with Daniel Cormier. I watched all the embedded's for their events. I remember seeing DC freak out because Jones tested positive for steroids 1 day before their fight.

They've had to move ENTIRE events across the country because the athletic commission wouldn't sanction Jones to fight.

The entire MMA community was in uproar when that happened to Nick. To ban him for FIVE YEARS during his prime over some marijuana was a travesty and killed his career. Hope he's doing well.

I was a huge Diaz fan. Still am.

But he a crackhead now.

A month ago or so he was in a rehab center somewhere in Mexico. They don't put you there for weed, that's for sure.

I heard he was on meth. Hoping that's not true.

One thing I will say is that I feel like Nate wouldn't allow his brother to be shipped out to some low-grade facility.
