Automating Talking To Someone on Microsoft Teams? Can You Do it?

Co-workers always try chit chatting and I'm expected to respond because I have to look like a team player.

I just hate it really. I thought about this as a joke and then wondered if anyone has managed to set up autoresponders or something that work with Microsoft Teams.

It can't be something that requires admin access to the company Teams account, just a program I can leave running that picks up on when someone responds on Teams, analyzes the content, and then sends a response.

Even something that can send out pre-written responses works for me. I just need to boost my engagement on Teams before I get another complaint that I'm not talking enough.

Have you tried Power Automate?

I forget, does Teams have the ability to download all of your chat logs?

If so, that can be scraped and weighed against tone, demeanor, and overall discussion type/quality.

The script or bot could then copy the teams conversation happening, go to ChatGPT or some AI, and then paste back the response ChatGPT sends.

Spitballing here, of course. Are you on an intranet or remotely connected to teams from your home?
