Can’t tell if something is AI? SynthID is the answer…

You get so many people generating images with AI and trying to pass them off as real that’s it’s really thrown everyone for a loop.

Instead of taking the time trying to guess and look at every little bit of an image, so AIs now add imperceptible watermarks to the photos they generate using SynthID.

Thing is with SynthID there’s probably going to be a SynthID remover if there already isn’t one. But for your average moron making fake photos to scam or screw someone over it’ll work for a long time for sure.

Easy as shit to bypass. If you generate an image with Gemini, run the same image through Meta’s AI or one that doesn’t use SynthID and recreate it.

I heard just taking a screenshot of the image works too.

But yeah it’ll work on dipshits.
