When you create a forum suggestion so awesome there is a need to upvote it to get the ball the rolling. It then lets other people know its safe and OK to vote. Much like being the trend setter at a party once you are the first to go or the bravest to get your coat first everyone else gets up and fucks off also.

This does not seem to be the case here? I can not upvote my own created suggestion?

Not sure if it's a bug, problem, or a deliberate breach of my human rights.

It's like that by default as that's how the Xenforo developers intended for it to work.

There's no setting for it, so I'd need to look into a way to enable it.

Seems kind of pointless though. Obviously the person posting their suggestion would upvote it, so isn't it just a given?

Okay, so as far as I'm concerned, this is possible, but I'd need to make a custom add-on for it. However, it might require a lot more work than it's worth for me to build and test it. This suggestion still has 0 upvotes, so I'm declining it for now, but if anyone suggests this again and there's support for it, then at least we know it's possible.
