Reddit Did Reddit remove the news bar on mobile?

That news reel bit at the top of the popular page is still their on the desktop version.

On mobile or the app I no longer see it.

Did Reddit globally remove this?

That's how it is for me on the Reddit app now as well.

I'm not sure if it's a global update, a bug, or something else.
