Old news.Looks like shit is getting real heavy. Why now though? Why the UK?
Its because we dont have fighting age males but then thats why the MOD has been focused on smaller units doing more guerrilla tactics. I'm sure a few 100 beat 4000 in an artic war game recently BUT its just like that 200 Royal Marines vs 1500 USA troops. UK papers going to push that narrative to get people to join.

I actually believe it will be a case of China wants Taiwan (they already said they going to take it) they will ask Russia to do something this way to split USA forces while China takes what it wants.
I think we the West are behind manufacturing and technology wise - will see what new toys come out eventually, if any.
Dont think America will do anything with Iran - maybe the Epstine thing is a massive distraction from something. I figure if USA does bomb Iran I think USA will losse an air craft carrier first time since 1945..
I also don't think a global war will be fought with boots on the ground, not yet or at first anyway.

I'm not sure we're behind technologically though.
Even if China grabs TSMC, they, along with the whole technological world are still at the mercy of two companies: Dutch ASML and German Carl Zeiss.
China seems to be good at mass manufacturing generic technology, they bring in the German, Dutch and Japanese minds when they need some deep thinking though. No offence to them. They work hard. But only good at following orders mindset since Mao probably.
Russia probably the one to watch out for. Also always UK as Public enemy number one. Already threatened to nuke us twice. Might explain the heightened defences here specifically. Russia is worst case scenario imho

We (Joe public) don't get to see any west military advancements really until they get used. I don know from what I read we didn't do much with hypersonic missiles etc and was actually behind the east as our focus was on lasers. Could be wrong but I'm sure thats what I read along them lines.
If you seen how hard and fast those things hit even the Russian one recently that hit Ukraine but had no warheads on it nothing was able to stop it the speed - or nothing that was deployed there.
Manufacturing is a massive part of warfare if you can replace what you lose quicker than the enemy you win. Manufacturing we are behind. There actually lots of opportunities with government contacts at the moment for producing drones, drone parts and so on.
If anywhere in Europe gets a nuke it will be the UK. Our oil is off shore so can be harvested. Small risk on fallout traveling it can be isolated as an island pretty easy. No ones going to nuke land or a resource in a location they need. UK as an island in my opinion is at risk. To what extent a nuke drops who knows.
I don't think nukes are an issue really. IF they are id rather just sit outside and open my 25 year old single Malt and regret not being able to finish the bottle.

One of the conspiracy theroeies (wild ones) is that they all trained in urban combat and here to kull 91% or some insane number of UK population for some global agenda.

Where I am I don't see it. But if I head to the major city it's very noticeable. Worry for both my children's future really and my daughter when she goes off to uni.

There was a time I thought people would step up and do what's needed. Myself included.
Now I feel so shafted by the country just wasted taxes and not seeing any of it spent here or any love for us as the 'native' population.
I couldn't give two fucks.
I got land ill protect mine and my family. That's as far as it goes.
If the UK won't look after us why should be look after it. UK is beyond broken. Hopefully can be saved not sure in my lifetime or even if saving it will be the UK I even grew up in.
