It's fairly simple all you do is get the free or cheap domain you join them then you can transfer out to someone else normally for not much money or you can wait for when domain providers do deals then transfer out for free to max of like $5.00 . You can as well get in some hosting providers if you agree to join them they will allow you get all your domain transfer for free or other perks.

A lot of ways to get out of paying it.
