It looks like all you need to do to verify your student access is provide a .edu domain e-mail.

Enter your school-issued .edu email to verify your eligibility for student discount.

Last I checked, I actually still have access to my student e-mail. The university had things set up with Google, so I can just go to Gmail and sign in.
