The author mentioned he didn't receive a response after his last e-mail.

It could've been a nice work opportunity for him if Waffle House offered, but most of these companies don't really consider that as an option.

At least it ended well enough.

It is a shame they didn't even take him on it or done a pr thing by thanking him with some waffles or something.

Get protecting the brand but given the exposure it started to have could have been a good pr opportunity

You're right, that could've even been a marketing opportunity for them.

It might've just been whoever was handling it didn't think of that, though.

I suppose we don't know exactly how their company works, but from the outside, it just seems like a missed opportunity.
