Giveaways & Discounts Section Rules​

Howdy there, and welcome to the Giveaways & Discounts section! This area is dedicated to sharing free resources, special offers, and promotional deals with the community.

Shares in this section also do not have to be related to IM, but there are some rules regarding what can and cannot be shared. Please read through this before posting in this section.

Allowed Content​

• Free resources: Tools, guides, courses, plugins, scripts, consultations, etc.
• External discounts: Deals or promotions you've found online and want to share with the community.
• No strings attached giveaways: You may ask for optional feedback or testimonials, but access to your offer must not depend on any required action.

Not Allowed​

• Your own service discounts: If you're selling a service or product on Office Outlaw, you may not promote discounts for it here. This section is not for self-promotion. Please use the appropriate marketplace areas for your own services.
• Illegal content: Anything that violates local or international law (e.g., pirated software, stolen databases, hacking tools).
• Unethical offers: Content that promotes scamming, phishing, impersonation, etc.
• Malware or suspicious links: All downloads must be clean and virus-free. Always scan and double-check your files before sharing.
• Forced actions: No mandatory likes, follows, signups, or shares required to access a giveaway. Asking is okay, but it must be optional.

Posting Guidelines​

• Be descriptive: Clearly explain what you're giving away or discounting. Include features, requirements, and any limitations.
• Mark updates: If you change the terms or availability of your offer, update the thread accordingly.
• One thread per offer: Don’t cross-post the same giveaway or discount across multiple sections.
• Affiliate/referral links: If you wish to include an affiliate or referral link, this needs to be disclosed in the thread and an optional non-referral/affilliate link needs to be provided as an alternative.
