Good to see the uptick in activity around here lately

Just wanted to say it's good to see the variety of threads and discussions going on around here.

That and the new members who have been joining have been pretty solid. It's not about the quantity but the quality, and I can say the quality is real high.

No AI bots, no spammers, just people.

I wasn't talking about that site. AI bots and spammers aren't unique to that place.

There are some other sites I use have had an uptick in spam and bots. I was saying it was refreshing to not have to deal with that here and on a couple of other sites I use.

I know, I just think it is time to let go of the talks of the other forum here since in my eyes it drags the quality down of this forum. It sounds like we all are pissed off has-been dudes only here. Not good for the forum here.

I agree with what you said but you did bring it up in this thread I made about OO when I wasn't talking about the other forum.

I do my best to stay out of those other threads for a reason. Let's focus on this forum friend.

As I said, I know, but the resent active threads here about the other forum is not uality talks here, that is why I commented in the first post .. connected to your "quality" statement. I was too talking about this forum.

That quality statement was about the value I'm getting out of posting here and the variety of threads on this forum, not the 2 threads on the homepage about some other forum I don't use.

Yes I know, those two threads have just bugging me as they are low quality threads for a while, nothing personal, just had to get that of my chest. Time is almost 6AM here, need to get my beauty sleep, back later.

You been here since May but have only started to uptake in posting since what Dec? Not having a go, I get people get and have plenty of things going on. But during my time here I've seen plenty of threads and discussions id deem as active posting and quality.

Just feels a bit odd you would post that having been a member for a year but only recently started to really contribute here.

New Member - Took me awhile but now I'm here..

I'm slow to get going but I finally worked up the nerve to post. I'm new to IM and wanted to try one of these forums. Not normally my thing but even I like trying new things in my age. I'm not sure where to start with this but wanted to make some side income to fund some of my project cars...

As I said I'm slow to get going and as you said people have other things going on. But what does me joining in May and becoming more active over time have to do with anything?

I wanted to add some positivity to the forum because you know something? I think those negative threads about that other forum are dragging the mood down here. But you guys who come in and complain about the people complaining aren't helping either. Turned a thread that didn't have diddly squat to do with it into another complaints thread and now apparently I'm getting scrutnized for not being active immediately.

I have half a mind to report both of you for thread derailing but I'm not going down that pussy path. You two are frustrated fine, but taking it out on me ain't doing you any favors.

Can mods just close my thread? It's just been ruined at this point.

I am so disappointed right now. They have no idea how offputting that behavior is for others here. Hurts the forum just as much as the threads they're complaining about.

But I do agree with them about those other threads so I'm going to submit some feedback about ways to limit those kinds of threads. Don't know why these guys aren't doing that but somebody has to if it's bleeding into every other thread.
