Google rarely changes the homepage of its search engine. Since it is used by billions of people, any change needs to be weighed on a gold scale. However, this year the classic search bar has undergone several changes.
In addition to the new AI mode button on the far right, Google has now added a plus button on the far left of the text box. When you tap the button, a menu appears from which you can upload images or files.
The uploaded material then forms the basis for the search or query. Previously, only a magnifying glass – to symbolize search – was displayed in the same place. The new feature is visible on Google.com, but Chrome's default home page still shows the search icon.
