Google has now launched a new, integrated version of Search Console Insights, a tool that helps website owners, content creators, and digital marketers easily understand and improve their visibility in Google Search. The new report is now part of the main Search Console interface, replacing the previous standalone beta version.

A more cohesive workflow for SEO and content

The updated Search Console Insights report builds on Google’s commitment to making website analytics accessible to non-data scientists. By integrating the report more deeply with Search Console, users now have a more holistic view of their website’s performance and new opportunities to identify areas for improvement.

With the new report you can, among other things:

  • Get a quick overview of total clicks and impressions from Google Search, and see how these evolve over time
  • Discover which pages attract the most visitors, as well as identify pages that are trending up or down
  • See which search queries are driving traffic to your website, including trends and new content opportunities
  • Compare performance and identify insights directly in the workflow, without having to switch between different tools

Google is also continuing its popular “Achievements” feature, where you receive notifications about new milestones, such as when your site reaches a new click record. These milestones will now also be available directly in the sidebar of Search Console.

Gradual rollout

The new version of Search Console Insights is rolling out gradually over the coming weeks. If you don't see the report in your account yet, we recommend that you keep an eye out for updates.

Google's focus on integrating and simplifying reporting aims to help more people understand and improve their presence in search and, ultimately, create even better and more relevant content.

Imagine you have a lemonade stand. Google is like a big map that tells everyone where your lemonade stand is.

Google has a special helper tool that tells you how many people saw your stand on the map and how many people came to buy your lemonade.

This helper tool just got a new, super easy-to-use notebook! Now, it's even simpler to see which lemonade flavor is the most popular and what signs people followed to find your stand. It even gives you a gold star when you do a great job and a lot of people visit your stand.

So, Google made it easier for people to know how popular their "lemonade stand" (website) is!
