I'm ready to go my end, just need to grab something to record YouTube and website content with, then jump on a bus to somewhere my scruffy face isn't noticed.

Has anyone got experience with vlogging, in a cool way and not a sad way?

Tried irl streaming with my Nokia G42 phone and Prism Live and it was a small nightmare with my phone overheating, connection dropping and yeah, had a harder time controlling the lightning and how I look in comparison with filming indoors. Later saw some dude with iPhone, shitloads of extra hardware attached and some filter app that instantly transformed that ugly nerdy dude into a kpop idol and I realized I need better hardware and software. So indoors only for me now.

That's how I do be feeling, always Halloween for us dude...

That camera, if it wasn't the 7-800 I'd have ordered it. Here's two of my favourite YouTubers, one's local and one's in the UK.

I want to go town to town in Ireland this end, I'd talk to people, I just want to make a list of what's in where.

I got it just about done too using GeneratePress.

Oh I think I found this dude...
Shit's just too complicated for me. I'll sit my ass in a chair and put my phone on a tripod on a desk lol. But yeah, being able to walk around like this and stream is pretty cool... Sadly too advanced for me for now. Maybe in the future.

Have you seen the DJI thing I posted mate?

It's got stability built in, it's got a button to flip the camera around and a stick to have it on to walk around with

I'd say we could figure this out really quick

I have the Pocket 3
Best thing I have purchased since Macbook M1
I wonder if there's anything better bang for the buck, the 700 Euro is a bit intimidating

I have the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. You can find them a little cheaper on eBay. In regards to the actual camera, there is probably not a lot of cameras that can compare to it. The automatic stabilizer and the face-focus are something that I have not seen on any other cameras and in the creative combo set you also get a few things that are perfect for vlogging and livestreaming such as the bluetooth microphone, which can be directly attached to the camera.

There are lots of mounts you can find on Amazon which fit perfect for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 and they are not that expensive either. One thing I would suggest you to buy is a screen protective cover and a protective cover for the lens. I got that too.

People just make it complicated. A very good app for IRL Streaming is IRL Pro (https://irlpro.app/). Lots of IRL Streamer use this one as it is not as heavy on the battery and you can also adjust the bitrate right on your stream, which is especially good if you are having a bad connection. Pair that with a power bank in your backpack connected to your phone and you can most likely do a 24 hour stream with your phone just with IRL Pro. Seriously, you don't need big IRL Backpacks with LiveU anymore (like this one: https://www.unlimitedirl.com/backpacks). It can all work well, just with the IRL Pro App.

Now, doing IRL Live Streaming with a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is a whole different setup and requires more sophisticated planning in terms of battery management, internet provider setup etc. - It is possible but you would need to have it all figured out perfectly, as otherwise you may run into issues while doing your live stream (choppy audio/video, overheating).

If you want, I can help you with setting up IRL Pro for your phone. Just let me know.

Didn't know this one, will check it out for sure, thanks!
