So....
I canceled my VIP subscription at the other forum because it's dying and to be honest, things are getting really bad over there as many of you already know.
My business has taken a massive hit, which really affects my family—I've got kids and bills to pay.
Sure, it's my mistake that I put all my eggs in one basket
So...I’m curious where are you folks migrating to? Besides this nice new place, of course!
Any help is appreciated!

Customers you got.

What you doing to remind them about you?

Are you pushing seasonal services or reminders they might help with?

It's going to be easier to get former and current clients or customers to spend with you than get new ones.

If you are real stuck you need to try get a job.. At least to tie you over.

Yes, I’m already retargeting old clients, but there’s only so much you can squeeze out of that.
I was wondering if there is a valid replacement to the old place in terms of traffic and business potential. I mean people must be migrating somewhere, right?

It's not that bad yet that I need to get a job, but I do realize that if I don’t do something within the next two months, I might be in a tough spot.

Don't know what your offering to help

Assuming it's digital seo or design based. Then there will be clients to get everywhere?

What are you doing for local seo and niche type searches?

You need to build up your own platform regardless of where you move to, to sell for exactly this problem you have.

If it's 2 months then personally I'd start looking around for work now. Landing a job might take longer than you think.

You trying cold outreach at all?

The major platforms people host their services on are places like Fiverr and Upwork, but there they are considered oversaturated right now. Only other place I can think of that's similar to BHW's marketplace is Swapd.

You can try promoting on Reddit, but you have to be subtle about it, otherwise you'll get banned from subreddits pretty fast.

I never did business on BHW, but I cancelled my Jr VIP as well.
Not sure if BHW dies, I just don't feel like going there much these days.

What services you offer?

I only know of this place and some subReddits. Whatever you do stay away from those Fb groups cause they're full of desperate spammers.

Bro no kidding.

That new admin singlehandedly killed the intro section and the place is overrun with ai spam.

Then the mods are just being weird af. Like look at this shit vvvvv
Code:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/why-bhw.1771745/
All the banned accounts there and some other guy got threatened with a warning for enlarging font unnecessarily but a few posts up and another admin is going on about how clear it is to follow the TOS and not break rules. 5 mods in one basic ass complaint thread is like 5 police cars responding to a jaywalker LMAO.

I feel like the mods are just AI bots too... They must be using some automation software because they act very weird lately.
Since they introduced the 15 post count requirement for new members in the "Hire a Freelancer" and "Want to Buy" sections, they've effectively killed the forum, as sellers now rely on underperforming marketplace threads that hurt everyone’s business.

The moment you criticize the moderation team or address a real issue, your post gets removed, and you receive a warning—silencing legitimate concerns.

Yes, I tried some cold outreach on Discord but I discovered that the majority of users are bots or scammers.... Or maybe I joined the wrong servers ?

Well... I operate in a gray area, more like a black area; I sell accounts of all kinds: Softreg, Aged, Verified, Boosted, with Credits, etc.
For context, I've already received a C&D letter from a major tech company for exploiting their platform.
The old forum was a great place for providers like me because it attracted a specific audience.

The ideal buyer in my case is tech-savvy and pays with crypto.

Most people I knew left BHW years ago over finding poor sales.

Most moved onto Facebook to sell services or their own website from SEO or PPC

The fundamental issue with using mainstream platforms like Facebook to advertise my services is that there are only two categories of people there:
1. Boomers, who don't even know how to use their own credit cards
2. Scammers and time-wasters.

I remember you @netmoney. It's good to see another IM OG on this forum.

I left BHW myself after they gave me a post count spam warning for a lounge post I made that was apparently too short. I asked what rule I broke because posts don't even count in that section and I didn't know there was some kind of minimum word count they're expecting with even lounge posts. The mod gave me a mod abuse warning and threatened me with a ban if I kept asking stupid questions so I was like FUCK this and signed off.

Sites to migrate to let me think. This OO site is mostly just a forum and works well for that. This one has a marketplace but I heard they're still revamping it so it's not really an option right now. If you're looking for a IM marketplace then you can try Accsmarket if you sell social media accounts. I haven't used it myself but a mate of mine likes it.

I am telling you guys.... The mods are using some kind of automation software because no human can be that stupid
I also noticed if I report multiple threads of a spammer in a short amount of time Mods send me a PM like "You don't need to report multiple threads from the same member, because this creates more work for the moderation team"

They always complain how much work they have to deal with while at the same time innocent members receive automated warnings for no reason.... (Probably AI)

I got plenty of friends making big money on Facebook without much issues.

Not everyone boomer, you got Gen X or Gen Y or Gen Z

Bro it does feel like they're automating the moderation but in the dumbest possible way haha!

But nah I think they're just like that. I don't know if you saw what happened with some of the recent volunteers they got but as soon as those guys became MITs they started sounding all corporate and like robots. Suddenly they're like "We understand you and we are a collective" lol. All personality jsut went out the door.

I looked at their forum right now.... did they get rid of the WTB section? There's only a HAF section now. But then the description for the HAF sections still mentions the WTB section?
Want to hire a freelancer to build a bot, complete a task, or something else? Post your "Hire A Freelancer" (HAF) threads here. Please do not confuse this section with the Want To Buy section!
Like I said I don't think they're automating this shit I think they're genuinely just this sloppy. They're way too personal when they give warnings out or attack members for it to be automated.

I will try it.
Thank you for taking the time to help me

So essentially, the majority of the moderation team is scamming Diamond Damien because they use AI to automate everything, issuing bans and warnings left and right to innocent people. I say "majority" because I know some of them have good intentions.
And they also get a salary for this.
Now, I don't know if the owner is aware and supporting this, like if he is an accomplice or if this is just an operation run by the moderation team alone.

Anyway, it's a messed-up place, and it's just a matter of time until everyone leaves.

I’d be wary of them. I saw a thread on BHW about it some people getting ripped off there but people also get ripped off on BHW.
Code:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/accsmarket-com-scamming.1784076/
There’s a mod in that thread who mentioned accsmarket was banned from there but personally I don’t think that means much. It’s a competitor’s marketplace so of course they’re going to be banned from BHW.

Yeah, forums are fine (as you said, you have a specific niche in mind and these people use forums) but it's best to get your own traffic from fb groups / other social media, seo, paid ads. You can have a sales thread at the same time, provider I sometimes resell from (in addition to my own services) has a bhw thread but they also rank in google and have retargeting ads on gads. I actually knew they exist from somewhere else than bhw lol. It's not good to base everything only on 1 forum or platform. Like @polecat said facebook has everyone right now. I hate this site but yeah... It has normies but it also has smma kids, hackers, spammers, carders ripping people off in the fb marketplace. And tbh normies that I target usually act more blackhat than what's allowed at bhw. I'm thinking it's online sunday school at this point... If mainstream small business owners are more blackhat than 'blackhat' forum you know something's wrong.

Edit:
Also... Getting a job when you're already businessperson for a while. *sighs* It's not that simple when they already know you're entrepreneurial, they know you'll leave as soon as you have the occassion and you're not a slave material. You're not the best candidate for them even if you have skills / experience. + Jobs pay less so that doesn't solve financial problems. I think it normally works like this: 1. Someone has jobs and climbs the ladder some 2. Upgrades to being an independent specialist / something more business-y / multiple clients like @roydan
Then it works well because he can take his experience and contacts from work, it doesn't work well the other way around. I mean, I tried lol. They'll rather pick someone with less experience but that can give his/her whole time and attention to the company, rather than someone they *know* will hustle in his spare time and leave the company.
