How common are Stripe account deactivations?

I saw that Paypal deactivation thread and that got me thinking about Stripe for some reason.

I moved away from Paypal because of how common the random deactivations, but is Stripe the same way?

I keep money in my Stripe account but now I'm wondering if I should move it out of there too.

Personally I've never heard of them from anyone I've done business with.

But that doesn't mean they don't happen.

It depends on the type of business you’re operating. I would highly suggest checking their blacklist, that is, what they allow and don’t allow. Stripe isn’t as bad as PayPal, but they’re also known for blocking accounts if you’re running a business that violates their policies.
