Crazy these still do the rounds, but that tells me they're still catching idiots. I remember when I was young, long before IM... I played along with one of these guys and actually ended up scamming the scammer, I'll not go into it as I could possibly incriminate myself (I was like 18... zero fucks were given), but it's insane these are still spammed daily to people after all these decades.

Its a part of scamming which is still going on.. someone want to donate you million of dollars and some where you won a game which you never played and the person is eager to send you million of dollars which you won on any challenge.
