It could really help with prioritizing suggestions, as well as when we scale up, any suggestion could be considered only if it reached a certain upvote threshold or something (maybe 10 upvotes from regular members and up, for example).

I can't change this node type nor can I make a new one with the same URL, but I can create a suggestion forum called "Forum Suggestions".

We have a large mix of stuff in this specific section at this point that I was considering separating "suggestions" from "feedback". This was, we can have one section for any issues someone is experiencing (this one) and another section for users to suggest new ideas, add-ons, etc. The former is a lot more urgent in the sense that if there's an issue, it's important for us to be able to see it quickly and address it.

Give me a bit to create the new node and we can try it out.

So you had to build a duplicate of the suggestion section to implement this?
It's like the fellas at XenForo found a creative way to complicate every single thing.

Or did I post it in the wrong place?
You didn't post in the wrong place as this section didn't exist when you made the thread.

To answer your other question, there are node types (subforums), and once you create a node, you can't change it. There might be a way to do, but it might be more hassle than it's worth.

Anyway, so since I couldn't change the node type, what I did instead was separate forums suggestions from forum feedback. Essentially, suggestions are for anything that can improve the forum, and feedback is for any issues or questions someone has about the forum. Yeah, it's not the cleanest thing in the world. The good thing about making this distinction though is that now, we can more easily prioritise feedback threads since they're easier to sort through now and suggestions can get voted up in the community in a way that easy to see and easy to do.

Is it possible to move the up down vote to left side? lol

Just realised this was still marked as "New".

I've set this to Implemented now as @Zwielicht created a new section for Forum Suggestions with polls for voting.
