Is SEMrush still the number 1. SEO tool suite?

What specific areas did SEMrush outperform Ahrefs in when you tested them head-to-head? Was it keyword data, backlink analysis, site audits, or something else? Always looking to understand these comparisons better.

I did a full test about two years ago across a few sites. Compared SEMRush vs Ahrefs and added the GSC data as well for reference. Posted it on another forum, here:

It was never the ‘no.1 SEO tool suite’ No SEO tool suite is ever worth the money. They are just toys.

Yeah man, it is really good.

Also it costs less if we opt for group-buy.

Ahrefs is still what I turn to when I want to do some deep digging or need some juicy exports to work through, I never really clicked with Semrush's workflow/UI. But for most things SerpStat covers enough data for my needs, and I was lucky enough to bag a LTD several years ago when they were starting up.

I will vote for Semrush as it does help me with paid ads search section

I prefer Ahref though but the price seems a little bit high.
