My LinkedIn feels like a mess, specifically the skills section. I need to put fewer skills as some of them are redundant because you can put stuff like “SEO” as a skill and then “search engine optimisation”. It doesn’t help that when you apply for jobs, the job might match one of those but not the other, even though it’s the same thing.

That was kinda the idea with this thread. On the other forum some % of people that exchanged were new accounts so I assume they googled linkedin exchange and ended up on the other forum.

I do, headhunters and company owners do too. If you activate services page you should get clients inbound and if you check that you're looking for work you should get pinged by recruiters.

Yeah, you probably want to focus on sounding like you're really fuckin awesome and have the best skillz out there. Which sometimes is the case but the tone you use to write doesn't reflect your expertise.

Yeah, you can turn this on and off, I believe. You can even toggle on/off each endorsement and recommendation! Look around settings, it should be possible.

I already have my recs and endorsements maxed out so maybe it's not the most important thing for me right now but I'm still up for exchanging.
