I don't think Location really serves as much purpose as someone would think.
And it's usually used to put in stupidity text like we have seen on other forums.



Instead, I would opt in to display someone's time zone instead.
Similar to what is displayed (or just straight out display what people have in preferences' TimeZone)



That gives people more of an idea when that user would be on or around on.
Since, if you put let's say Irkutsk s your location.
I would honestly have no clue where that is, or what time is it there.

I believe team's also have something similar like tells you the difference as well which goes a step further and just tells you the difference.

It looks like the simplest option is to change "Location" to something else.

I can edit the template and remove the field as well, but I'll have to resume looking at this later since I don't want to break anything right now.

I haven't forgotten about this one. I tried changing the phrase thinking that was the simplest solution, but that didn't work for some reason.

I'll make another attempt at this later.

It's always the most random things that are the hardest to edit out in Xenforo.

Technically, I could hide it from profile pages with a bit of code, but then it won't remove the option for users to fill this out.

I might just have to leave this one as "cannot resolve" for now. However, later on, I would like to revisit this and see if there's a way to add in that time zone idea you mentioned.
