What it comes down to is that Meta has made link sharing a freemium feature in the test. Those included in the test can only share a limited amount of links without paying. (In some cases, apparently as low as 2 links per month.)

This is for professional mode profiles, though, not 'normal' profiles? They keep punishing business pages, kinda not surprising they terrorize pro mode users now too.

For now it is limited to that in the test, fck knows what happens later to normal users .. I don`t have a Facebook account but if one social network starts, the others follows.

Yeah once one can get away with it they all will. Free accounts will allow links to "trusted" sources only... i.e those who pay, will become something like the hell HotUKDeals is when you try to post there some mod will refuse it because its not an affiliate link that the platform can earn from.
