Microsoft Advertising MS Ads (Bing) is allowing advertising to use impressions as a source for remarketing audiences (it sounds boring but it's insane!!!)

What do you think about a remarketing list built from people who saw your ads?
This a new feature in Microsoft Ads and I think it's amazing.

There used to be a beta feature of this on Google Ads a few years ago. It was AWESOME but the scraped it eventually. Most likely because it drove a lot of the CPCs in search down.

How it works
If your ad is shown on Bing search, native placements, Copilot, or other Microsoft inventory, the viewer can be added to a remarketing list. You can then use that list for targeting, exclusions, or bid adjustments.

Key details

1. Up to 20 sources (campaigns/ad groups) can feed your lists.
1. Audience window: 1–30 days (Kinda meh if you asked me, I'd be a happy buyer of a 180 day list of that sort)

Any campaign can be a source, but not all can be a destination (e.g., premium streaming can feed but not be targeted).

Copilot impressions qualify as sources and destinations, though reporting is limited. Only display ads (closed beta) can target Copilot directly.

With automated bidding, bid adjustments (e.g. +20%) do affect CPC/CPM.

My guess, or "prediction" is that Google are about to launch this as well, and soon.

This is insane, and I can already think of a few really good ways to put it to use.
Imaging a super low CPC search campaign (that puts the ad in the very bottom of the SERP just to get the impression) and then use the audience on their display network at a fraction of the cost.
This is an amazing feature IMO, and I can't wait to give it a go.
