As our forum grows, the staff have undoubtedly found themselves issuing more notices and bans over last year.

A problem I came across moderating other forums is that whenever a member was issued a ban or a notice, they would often repeat the same talking points over support or other platforms:
  • "I was banned/issued a notice for no reason"
  • "The mods are unfair! They don't issue Sapphire/Platinum/Founding/Patron/whatever upgraded members bans/notices"
  • "A specific moderator banned me even though I can't see who issued the ban!"
This kind of hearsay does hurt a community, especially when a ban or notice reason is only viewable to the staff.

That's why this section has been created. The purpose of this new section is not to humiliate members who receive notices or bans: it's simply to provide transparency to the community for bans and notices.

In fact, just so everyone is aware that this isn't the reason, threads in this new section:
  • Are not indexed in search engines.
  • Do not appear on the homepage.
  • Are only automatically generated and not manually created by staff members.
