This is long overdue in my opinion and a really interesting step forward for them.
LinkedIn's problem always been their ads. B2B ads are mind-numbingly boring boring (usually) so CTRs on LinkedIn are usually lower than other platforms.

That being said, they just launched a few personalization features in the ad text, that maybe can change that. Or at least takes them one step closed toward having a lot of engaging ads fighting for users' attention.

Anyway, you can now personalize these in the ad text:
Name
Company Name
Industry
Job Title

I'm curious to know whether it will be included in Microsoft Ads' beta for running on LinkedIn feed directly from MS' interface. I really doubt it, though.

They partenered with MS recently right? They're probably going to include it in MS Ads beta I'd wager but it's just a guess.

MS acquired them a few years ago. Most of what came of that was in allowing MS Ads to target based on criteria set on LinkedIn in the audience network. It was cool, but not next level.
