We're starting to get a really good forum going here! I've been having a lot of fun working on building this forum with all of you.
Forum Promotion
We're going to start promoting this forum soon. I'm thinking sometime this week or next week, but I want to make sure we get the new logo up before doing so.
In the meantime, if any of you know anyone who like to join this forum, definitely feel free to recommend it to them.
We're also starting to get traffic from Google, so I'm expecting more signups over the next week.
Moderators
We have quite a lot of moderators on the team already. This is in anticipation of this forum growing as it's already grown a little faster than I expected.
I've sent invites to a couple of other people I've worked with in the past. I'm expecting one of them to join the team soon and the other one might join it later. There are two other people I would invite to the team, but I need to find their contact details first.
In the meantime, we definitely have more coverage than we need at the moment, but like I said, it's in anticipation of the forum growing.
Cloudflare?
I kind of hate Cloudflare, to be honest. I know it has DDOS protection and all of that, but it's kind of annoying.
Still, we might use Cloudflare on this forum and just keep the settings a bit low so it doesn't ruin the experience of using this forum.
Making Office Outlaw Fun
Well, more fun! We're going to be adding more trophies in. As many of you have already seen, they're video game references mostly from games we like to play.
Right now, trophy point don't have much of a purpose, although we'll look into what we can do with these at a later point.
We're also still looking into cosmetic username colours. These won't come with any extra benefits, I'm just still working out what the pre-requisites for them will be.
What Would You Like To See On Office Outlaw?
The feedback we've received so far has been amazing! Many fixes that all of you have suggested to the default Xenforo structure have been applied to make this forum more user friendly (why isn't it like this out of the box?)
